SARRAH Position Statement - The Medical Benefits Schedule & Allied Health Services
Description:
(January 2012) SARRAH has identified issues in relation to Commonwealth Government funded Medicare initiatives to increase access to allied health services and team based care for Australian health consumers. Of major concern is the reduced access to health services provided by these initiatives as a result of lack of private AHPs, Dentists, GPs and other health practitioners eligible under the programs.
