Conference Recommendation Process
Download the recommendations from the 2008 National SARRAH Conference. The Chairperson at each session was asked to record any recommendations from their session and hand them into the Conference Secretariat following the completion of their session. Conference recommendations were also submitted by delegates by direct input via the Conference Management and SARRAH staff. A Conference Recommendations Committee worked on an early prioritization of the recommendations for consideration by delegates at a plenary session on the last day of the Conference. All recommendations from the Conference will be considered by SARRAH. Recommendations relating to the SARRAH Mission and goals will be used to inform and assist in the development of the SARRAH strategic direction and annual planning for the following 2 years. Recommendations will also be sent to the Department of Health and Ageing, State / Territory Departments of Health, other organisations and individuals who are able to act on them. The recommendation documents are available for download. The recommendations have been grouped according to broad theme areas. Delegates to the conference should note that where there was similarity between recommendations submitted by two or more delegates, these recommendations may have been merged/blended/collapsed into a single recommendation. Recommendations from the Conference came out of feedback / discussion / question time from plenary sessions, concurrent sessions and workshops during the course of the conference. |
