SARRAH specialises in policy, workforce and service delivery issues relating to allied health professionals in rural and remote Australia. We have a particular interest in the delivery of health services by multidisciplinary teams across the health sector. Our members work in the public sector, private practice, community health, family services, non-government organisations, universities, education, justice, welfare and in programs funded by the Australian Government.

Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health (SARRAH) welcomes the announcement by Ministers’ Nicola Roxon and Warren Snowdon today (14th July 2010) confirming they have been appointed the administrator of the allied health component of the Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and Support Scheme (NAHSSS).
