Steering Committees and Working Groups
This section of the website provides information of the activity of the Association and the manner in which the Association conducts its business. Visitors to these pages, particularly the Steering Committees and Subgroups, will gain an understanding on the current areas of activity and work of the membership of the organisation. In 2008, SARRAH launched the Rural and Remote Allied Health Research Alliance (RRAHRA). The Alliance is coordinated by a 6 member steering committee and has a focus on rural and remote allied health research, clinical education and interprofessional education. Steering CommitteesOther Committees of the Association may be formed according to the current activity of the Association. Committees of the Association may be time limited or long standing. Committee membership is through appointment or nomination, with a set number of members per committee. The Board may, from time to time, appoint members to a Committee that are not financial members of the Association where a particular expertise or skill is required. The activities of the Working Groups are sponsored by a member of the SARRAH Board who will take the role of Chair or Chair's proxy for the Working Group.
